Welcome to WR New Recruits
Thank you for volunteering to take part in the Worldwide Roar.
It means a lot to us, and now is a particularly exciting time for the project.
Before you start creating content from home, we think it’s important that we get to know each other a little better.
You may know that we began as Warwick Rowers, a project featuring one rowing team from one university in the UK.
Now that we have relaunched as the Worldwide Roar, a platform for athletes from different sports and other countries, we want to make you feel as at home in the project as the Warwick Rowers always did.
Our first priority is to give you all the information you need to get up to speed on what we’re doing and to learn more about what it’s like to do a shoot. We also want to get to know you a little better. It's important for you and for us because WR has always been based on a shared understanding and a sense of connection between the guys taking part.
First of all, to help you get to know us, we have selected three videos below for you to watch (and there are plenty on our channel if you want to watch more!). Two show clips from our shoots and one is a film produced by Sport Allies, the registered charity that our work supports:
